Responsibilities

  • On-site Technical Support: Provide on-site support for desktop hardware, desktop applications, email, printers, and network-related issues.
  • Installation and Configuration: Install, de-install, configure, and support MS Windows OS, Windows applications, and other user applications.
  • Break/Fix Troubleshooting: Perform on-site troubleshooting and resolution for hardware and software issues.
  • Moves, Adds, and Changes: Perform hardware and software moves, adds, and changes as required by clients or project requirements.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system performance and prevent future issues.
  • Escalation Management: Invoke the problem escalation process to the next level of support when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Project Rollouts and Installation: Participate in project rollouts, including the installation of new systems and technologies.
  • Service Level Agreement (SLA) Compliance: Ensure compliance with SLAs by responding to service requests within designated timeframes and resolving issues to meet customer expectations.
  • Certification and Learning: Continuously pursue relevant industry certifications as part of career development and partnership requirements.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in the support, administration, maintenance, and configuration of Wintel desktop and network environments.
  • Knowledge: Proficient in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, antivirus software, PC hardware, networking equipment, and printers.
  • Personal Skills and Attributes:
  • Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Applicant must be willing to travel and possess own transport.
  • 1 Year Contract Position
