Responsibilities
To provide pre-sales technical support to Network business primarily on enterprise networking (routing & switching and wireless), security and data center solutions.
Other system solutions may be developed in accordance to company business direction.
Assists in activities including preparation of BOM, liaising with partner/principal on technical aspects, solution verification, proposal write-ups, customer presentations, clarifications, proof of concepts and other related activities
Provide technical support for ongoing sale opportunities, RFI/RFQ/RFP response, customer presentation and technical workshop
Incorporate with support services and managed services ideas into proposal
Pre-sales skill development on technologies
Develop strong customer relationships that enable trusted advisor to our strategic clients
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
Cisco/Aruba/Huawei or other networking solution certification or experience if any.
Must possess a strong desire to pursue and develop future career in pre-sales area, to focus on design, architecting and sales support.
Good command of both spoken and written English. Japanese and mandarin speaking are added advantage to support Japanese and China customers.
Good inter-personal and communications skill with all levels
Self-motivated, self-driven and able to work independently with minimum supervision
Good team player
Willing to work under tight schedules to meet stringent project timelines
