Software Deployment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analysis, Design, Estimation and Tracking.
• Deconstructing requirements into use-cases for analysis and system design.
• Evaluating information to understand level of effort, risks and dependencies.
• Development and Unit Testing.
• Conducting code reviews and Unit testing.
• Writing well-designed and testable code.
• Deploy software and gain user feedback.
• Document functionality and maintain code.
• Trouble-shoot, upgrade and enhance existing systems.
• Development of scalable and high performing solutions in a web enabled environment.
• Develop reporting routines for internal stakeholders to improve performance and improve bottom line results.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent; professional certification is a plus.
• At least 2 – 3 years of experience developing, testing and scaling web applications.
• Proven experience as a Software Deployment Engineer or similar role.
• Experience interfacing development with external third-party systems.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment, ability to work independently.
• Ability in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and organizing workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast paced, high growth environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and proactively question, challenge and offer solutions.
