Logistic Specialist – Invoicing & Logistics

Responsibilities

1. Logistic Management

  • Manage transporter/courier agents and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure goods are delivered within the time frame and negotiate for the best transportation charges.
  • Monitor all necessary required actions with the relevant parties to initiate timely delivery process to fulfil customers’ delivery lead time.
  • Manage transporters and ensure the timely return of acknowledged delivery orders for billing purposes.

2. Schedule Delivery

  • Plan and coordinate daily transportation arrangements.
  • Maintain efficient and effective communication with sales representatives, customers, engineers and transporters to facilitate an expeditious logistic process.

3. Stock-Take

  • Carry out stock-take activities for all goods under MHFG (Finished goods) and submit relevant report to warehouse manager.

4. Others

  • Check and verify monthly transportation charges submitted by transporters / courier agents.
  • Continually improve all processes within the division to ensure an efficient and smooth running of the division.
  • Provide relevant reports for management attention with recommended remedial actions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum SPM with 2 – 3 years’ experience in similar industries.
  • Possess good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Integrity is a critical attribute.
  • Good inter-personal and communications skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Willing to work under tight schedules to meet stringent timelines.
