Business Manager (Workplace)

Main Job Task and Responsibilities

  • Product Management: Oversee the development, launch, and lifecycle management of EUC products and services.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and executing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support, to ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Budget and Profitability: Monitor product performance, manage budgets, and ensure profitability.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure proposed products meet their expectations.
  • Proposal and Pricing Management: Prepare proposals and costing for tender documents, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors, distributors, and/or the internal Services Team to gather necessary information and pricing.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on product performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to the Business Director

Education and Experience:

  • Qualifications: Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Business, or Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales within the IT industry, with a strong focus on service delivery and partner engagement.
  • Skills:
    • Strategic Relationship Management: Skilled in managing external partnerships, executive-level relationships, and cross-functional collaboration to support business and service delivery goals.
    • Business Planning and Analysis: Proficient in interpreting business results, setting performance targets, and executing action plans aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Technical and Sales Alignment: Effective in bridging business and technical teams—including Solution Architects—with working knowledge of End-User Computing (EUC) and software solutions.
    • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities to build and maintain relationships effectively.
    • Proactive Drive: Self-motivated, with a proactive approach and a results-driven mindset to achieve and exceed targets.
