Account Manager (GG&T)

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management
    • Establish relationships with clients’ Information Technology (IT) and business unit executives, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their issues, needs, and requirements.
    • Manage client satisfaction regarding IT service delivery, ensuring profit objectives are met.
  2. Sales and Business Development
    • Lead business development initiatives to identify and secure new customers through proactive strategies.
    • Manage account portfolios, tracking and reporting on metrics, growth opportunities, and potential risks.
    • Drive maintenance sales opportunities, including post-warranty services.
    • Achieve sales targets and maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Engage with principals, partners, and suppliers in sales activities related to IT services.
  3. Collaboration and Team Coordination: Work closely with internal teams such as Pre-Sales and Post-Sales to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions.
  4. Market and Strategic Management
    • Monitor market conditions and recommend pricing and strategic market approaches.
    • Investigate customer complaints regarding quality, delivery, or service, recommending corrective measures.
  5. Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare, present, negotiate, and finalize contracts, quotations, and proposals.
  6. Issue Escalation and Problem Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for escalated issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  7. Post-Warranty and Maintenance Sales: Follow up on post-warranty opportunities to drive maintenance sales.

Education and Experience:

  • Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Marketing, IT, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (Computer/ Telecommunication), Commerce, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience:
    • At least 3 years of sales experience in the GLC or government segments for IT maintenance sales, preferably from system integrator companies.
    • 2-3 years of relevant field experience.
  • Key Skills:
    • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities to build and maintain relationships effectively.
    • Proactive Drive: Self-motivated, with a proactive approach and a results-driven mindset to achieve and exceed targets.
    • Required language(s): Chinese, English
