Internship (IT Sales and Technical Support)
Responsibilities
IT Sales:
- Assist the sales team in identifying and qualifying leads.
- Support the preparation of sales quotations, presentations and proposals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and competitors.
- Help maintain and update the customer database.
- Participate in client meetings and follow up on leads with guidance from the sales team.
- Assist in preparing sales reports and performance analysis.
Technical Support:
- Provide first-level technical support to customers via email, phone, or in-person.
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues under the supervision of senior staff.
- Help with setting up and configuring IT equipment for customers and internal use.
- Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
- Collaborate with the technical team to test and implement IT solutions for clients.
- Assist in preparing user guides and training materials for clients.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT products and services (e.g., hardware like servers, storages, virtualization..ect., software like Microsoft, Vmware, Veeam, Linux..etc., and networking).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Knowledge of IT related tools and basic troubleshooting skills is an advantage.
- Minimum internship period of 6 months preferred.
- Final year interns are encouraged to apply
