Location(s) : Petaling Jaya

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and expertise in the planning, design, and implementation of network strategy for the company and/or client(s).
• Leads various network projects and provides network design options in multi-platform, multi-protocol environments.
• Leverages knowledge of infrastructure analysis, capacity planning, and product analysis and develops cost/business case justifications.
• Installs, configures, tests, maintains, troubleshoots, and tunes network infrastructure (i.e., routers, switches, gateways, firewall systems, premise distribution, voice/video systems, and security systems).
• Provides technical leadership for network problem escalation and resolution.
• Performs system capacity planning to ensure appropriate growth and evolution of systems.
• Develops and coordinates plans for periodic penetration testing of all applications and network elements for adherence to regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field in network computing/communication
• CCNA and CCNP will have added advantage
• Preferably with 1 year experience in deploying and managing network infrastructure.
• Qualified candidates should have well rounded experiences with full network diagnosis, installation, configuration and problem resolution.
• Further, the ideal Technical Engineer will have strong verbal and written communication skills, will be a true team player with a commitment to success, and will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing systems environment
• Good command in both written and spoken in English language
