Technical Specialist – Security

Responsibilities

• Carry project implementation task for security solution.
• Provide Design documents like HLD, LLD during project phase.
• To perform UAT and sign off with customer.
• 3+ years of experience building, deploying and support of enterprise grade security solutions like Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting skills on a wide array of enterprise grade Cyber Security products.
• L3 support for Cyber Security Incidents.
• Able to provide Root Cause Analysis Report to Customer.
• Prepare project documentation as per project requirement.
• Design, develop, implement, and test technical solutions based on business requirements within timeline.
• Identify potential issues and integrate possible solutions.
• Serve as the team’s technical subject matter expert and technical escalation resource.
• Engage with management regularly, reporting on project status, activity, and achievements.
• Responsible to be mentor for junior engineer to provide guidance & training to improve their technical skillset.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least an Advance Diploma or Degree in IT related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience of hands on security technical experience preferred.
• Familiar with network and security components and products such as Cisco, Trend Micro, FireEye, Fortigate, PaloAlto, etc.
• Preferably possess technical certifications such as CCNA, CCNA-Security, CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, PCNSE.
• Able to uphold confidentiality.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by being an active and productive team member.
• Strong telephone communication and customer management skills, ability to effectively communicate technical solutions and remedial action plans through oral and written communications.
